Dr. Apostolos Gkountas, R&D Engineer. Apostolos holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from University of Thessaly (Greece) and a PhD in turbomachinery design and numerical heat transfer for supercritical CO2. Since April 2020, he is an R&D Engineer in PSYCTO, participating in the design and performance simulation of heat pumps and ORC units. His main role in RES4LIVE project is the modeling and selection of the of the heat pumps’ components and the testing of the integrated system.
