RES4LIVE’s People: Konstantinos Atsonios!

Hello, I am Konstantinos Atsonios and I hold a PhD diploma on Mechanical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The last 11 years I work at the  Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute of CERTH (CPERI/CERTH). I am expert in advanced energy systems and processes, mainly related to low carbon emissions. Having participated in several national and European funded projects, I have experience in process modelling and performing thermodynamic calculations on various industrial processes, including thermal plants, biorefineries, energy storage concepts, cement production plants. In RES4LIVE, our CPERI team will focus on the technical assessment and validation of the numerical platform developed for energy management especially on the livestock subsector.
