RES4LIVE’s People: Alberto Barbaresi!

I am junior assistant professor at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna. In 2004 I graduated in construction engineering/architecture and in 2014 I received my doctorate in agricultural engineering. In my activity I have dedicated myself to building design and energy efficiency in various areas including rural construction. In the academic field, as the main research, I have followed topic the energy efficiency in agri-food processing buildings and in environments for protected crops and farms. In this context I have always carried out studies based on environmental monitoring and various parameters related to production. In particular, in recent years I have dedicated myself to the study, development and calibration of customized monitoring systems for the agricultural sector, in particular wineries, greenhouses and dairy barns. In RES4LIVE project, I am involved in the energy assessment and design of RES solutions of the Italian pilot farm and in the clustering activities with stakeholders.
